Vineyard Montessori Institute is a non-denominational Christian community serving the whole Body of Christ. We draw from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for its rich understanding of the child's spiritual nurture, while practicing it within a broad Christian tradition open to all believers.

Guarding the vision and theological foundations
The Stewardship Council exists to guard the vision, the theological and pedagogical foundations; they guide the long-term direction of Christian Montessori formation under the Vineyard Montessori Institute trademark.
The Council supports Vineyard Montessori Institute remains faithful to Montessori's developmental science, Christian spiritual formation, the biblical view of the child, and the original vision inspired by the speech Maria Montessori made on January 6, 1907, at the opening of the Casa Dei Bambini, San Lorenzo.
From Disch Montessori Centre to Vineyard Montessori Institute
We trained our teachers at Discovery House Montessori, under the name Disch Montessori Centre.
We began wrapping up Disch Montessori Centre as we transitioned to Vineyard Montessori Institute.
Those who received their diploma under Disch Montessori Centre will have their diplomas acknowledged by Vineyard Montessori Institute, with a stipulation that it excludes our spiritual formation program. Disch diploma holders can receive a revised diploma if they undertake the formation component.
